The Boxing Day Dip has become a bit of a tradition on British beaches and I have always seen the news reports and wondered what makes people want to run into the freezing cold North Sea. This year, my family and I decided to go to South Shields for a walk along the beach and found a large group of quite anxious looking people preparing themselves for a dip in the sea.
For me, this particular Boxing Day Dip was a case of right time right place as I feel that I captured some great images of some very brave people!
